Softball Recap: Caldwell Parish Takes a Loss

After flying high against Beekman Charter on Saturday, Caldwell Parish came back down to earth. The Spartans lost 12-3 to the Holy Savior Menard Eagles on Monday. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kayleigh Beckley was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run.

Caldwell Parish's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Holy Savior Menard, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-7.

Caldwell Parish has already played their next game, a 16-1 win against Vidalia on the 17th. As for Holy Savior Menard, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 21-4 victory against Avoyelles on the 17th.
