Volleyball Game Preview: Ludlowe Falcons vs. Greenwich Cardinals

Ludlowe hasn't had much luck against Greenwich recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Falcons will face off against the Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. Ludlowe is coming into the contest hot, having won their last 16 games.

Ludlowe is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Connecticut's top teams: New Canaan, who was ranked eighth at the time (Ludlowe was ranked sixth). The Falcons came out on top against the Rams by a score of 3-1 on Monday.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Greenwich, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They blew past McMahon 3-0 on Wednesday. The Cardinals haven't had any issues with the Senators recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-18, 25-11.

Ludlowe's victory bumped their record up to 19-2. As for Greenwich, their win bumped their record up to 18-1.

Ludlowe suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Greenwich in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Falcons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
