Football Recap: Franklinton Takes Down Gray's Creek in a Playoff Battle + How To Watch

It's playoff time, and Franklinton had no trouble coming through when it counted. They put the hurt on the Gray's Creek Bears with a sharp 28-6 win on Friday. Considering the Red Rams have won four games by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Franklinton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Keith James led the charge by throwing for 191 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 11 passes. The dominant performance also gave James a new career-high in passer rating (139.2). Franklinton's leading receiver Amani Blacknall was James' top target yet again, picking up 102 receiving yards and one TD.

Franklinton is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 10.5 points on average over those games. As for Gray's Creek, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-7.

Franklinton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 49-12 defeat against Williams on the 14th. Gray's Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
