Volleyball Recap: Tulelake Extends Winning Streak to Three + How To Watch

Tulelake had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Dunsmuir Tigers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Honkers also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Tulelake was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-20, 25-17.

Carli Orr paced Tulelake's offense, picking up 14 kills. Orr got some help from Kayla Frey and her 16 assists. Laynie Thomas controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Tulelake's victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Dunsmuir, they dropped their record down to 2-8 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.

Tulelake has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Crosspoint Christian on the 19th. As for Dunsmuir, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Big Valley on the 23rd.
