Volleyball Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short

Jefferson lost against Chapel Hill back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bulldogs lost 3-0 to the Red Devils. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Jefferson was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-20, 25-21.

Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 11-19. As for Chapel Hill, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-11 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Jefferson is set to face off against their familiar foe Harmony at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Chapel Hill will challenge rival New Diana at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
