Softball Recap: Lake Stevens Vikings vs. Glacier Peak Grizzlies

Lake Stevens's last matchup with Glacier Peak could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Wednesday. Lake Stevens lost 11-4 to Glacier Peak. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 4-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Lake Stevens got a good showing from Charli Pugmire, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Pugmire has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk any time she's pitched this season.
