Basketball Recap: Shoals Comes Up Short

Shoals lost against North Knox back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Shoals Jug Rox were dealt a 78-8 defeat at the hands of the North Knox Warriors. The contest marked the Jug Rox's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Shoals' loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for North Knox, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

The future could be bright for both Shoals and North Knox: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Shoals will try to hand Crothersville their fourth-straight defeat when the two meet at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Similarly, North Knox will look to extend Princeton's six-game losing streak when the meet at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
