Softball Recap: Emery/Weiner Comes Up Short

Emery/Weiner fell victim to Lutheran South Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 18-0 to the Pioneers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Lutheran South Academy this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-0 last Wednesday.

Emery/Weiner's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Lutheran South Academy, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Emery/Weiner is set to take on their familiar foe Bay Area Christian at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lutheran South Academy will face off against rival Second Baptist at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
