Football Recap: Southwest Guilford Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Southwest Guilford extended their losing streak to five on Friday, dropping them down to 1-7. They were outmatched by the Page Pirates and fell 57-6. While losing is never fun, the Cowboys can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 307th, while the Pirates are ranked 74th).

Emmanuel Martin threw for 35 yards on ten of 17 attempts.

As for Page, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-2. That looming 57-6 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for them yet this season.

Page found their leader in sophomore Zamari Williamson, who threw for 242 yards and five touchdowns on only 18 passes. Christopher Armstrong was Williamson's top target, picking up 102 receiving yards and a pair of scores.
