Galena Park moved up to 520 from 566 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 4A Region III District 24. The Yellowjackets climbed the ranks as a result of topping Santa Fe 48-21.

Dawson extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Lee, 33-7. The win marks seventh in a row for the the Eagles.

Friendswood's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Mustangs feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Jordan Wood has thrown for 649 yards and six touchdowns this season, while Michael Montalvo has eight catches for 178 yards. Wood also leads the league in rushing with 1197 yards.

The top two teams in 4A Region III District 24 will face off this week when first place Dawson takes on second place Friendswood. Dawson topped the Ganders last week, while Friendswood bested Goose Creek Memorial.

Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when the Mustangs take on Eric Wells' team. Friendswood's offense has recorded 324 points this season, making them No. 1 in the league, while the Eagles have permitted only 106 on the year.

Texas City took down Ball 42-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
