Basketball Recap: Coahulla Creek Skates Past Armuchee with Ease + How To Watch

Everything came up roses for the Coahulla Creek Colts against the Armuchee Indians on Friday as the squad secured a 59-27 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Colts.

Waelyn Baliles was nothing short of spectacular: he posted 16 points along with eight steals and seven rebounds. Those eight steals gave him a new career-high. Cade Marti was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 13 points and nine boards.

Coahulla Creek smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive boards in seven consecutive contests dating back to last season.

Coahulla Creek's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Armuchee, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coahulla Creek didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 61-50 defeat against Heritage on the 22nd. As for Armuchee, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Coosa at 7:30 p.m. on December 2.
