Football Game Recap: Springtown vs. Graham

After a dominant win in their contest last Thursday, Graham were humbled on Friday. They took a 29-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of Springtown.

Graham's defeat came about despite a quality game from senior Chase Gilmore, who rushed for 209 yards and 1 touchdown. Sophomore Hunter Lanham was in the mix, too, providing Graham with 2 touchdowns.

The loss dropped Graham's record to 1-4. The victory bumped Springtown's record up to 5-0.

In two weeks Graham take on Iowa Park at 7:00 PM. Given that they both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match. Springtown will have some time to rest before their next matchup, which is against Mineral Wells at 7:00 PM. Those two teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous games.
