Basketball Recap: Livermore Takes a Loss

Livermore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 50-36 bruising from the Monte Vista Mustangs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cowboys of the 62-41 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Livermore's loss dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Monte Vista, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-9.

Livermore will take on Granada at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Livermore is facing Granada at the right time seeing as Granada is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Monte Vista, they will challenge San Ramon Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. San Ramon Valley knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight games -- so hopefully Monte Vista likes a good challenge.
