Soccer Recap: Wimberley Finishes Even with Iowa Colony

Wimberley was not able to secure the win in their season-opener on Thursday. They and the Iowa Colony Pioneers finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw.

Hunter Hodgson and Felipe Cruz scored both of Wimberley's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

With that draw, Iowa Colony's record moves to 0-1-1.

Wimberley will challenge Canyon at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Iowa Colony, they will face off against IDEA South Flores at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
