Basketball Recap: LEE Comes Up Short

After soaring to 57 points the game before, LEE was a bit more limited in their match on Saturday. They received a blow as they fell 46-29 to the Madison Mavericks. The Volunteers just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Madison can attribute much of their success to Kassidy Flowers, who went 6 for 14 en route to 16 points. Branden Pryor was another key player, putting up eight points and seven boards.

LEE's defeat dropped their record down to 7-24. As for Madison, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 15-18.

Coming up, LEE will take on Churchill at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Churchill will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something LEE surely won't give up without a fight. As for Madison, they will square off against SA Roosevelt at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. SA Roosevelt is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.5 points per game this season.
