After flying high against Columbus on Friday, McIntosh came back down to earth. The Chiefs came up short against the Colquitt County Packers on Saturday, falling 10-4. The Chiefs' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

McIntosh's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Colquitt County, their win bumped their record up to 6-9.

Coming up, McIntosh will challenge St. Pius X Catholic at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Golden Lions' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Chiefs' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Colquitt County, they will face off against Valdosta at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
