Firelands and Wellington are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2018, but not for long. The Falcons will head out on the road to square off against the Dukes at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Firelands fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Oberlin on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 45-44 to the Phoenix. Falcons fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Phoenix since Friday.

Meanwhile, Wellington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 47-45 heartbreaker at the hands of Columbia.

Firelands' record now sits at 0-2. As for Wellington, their record is now an identical 0-2.

Firelands beat Wellington 63-55 when the teams last played back in January. Do the Falcons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Dukes turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
