It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but James Island had no problem doing just that on Friday. They blew past the Wando Warriors 48-0. Winning may never get old, but the Trojans sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Connor Dantzler produced another solid effort throwing for 246 yards and three touchdowns. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in each of the last four games he's played. Raphael Puiu also helped out with an impressive 87 receiving yards.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something James Island proved: they limited Wando to a paltry 3.3 yards per carry. The team can thank Jayseyvion Brown for the heroic effort on defense: he. James Island's ground attack was stronger, having averaged 5.1.

James Island didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Zamarius Gladden led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself. He got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

James Island's victory bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Wando, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-7.

Coming up, James Island will venture away from home to face off against Sumter at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Trojans will need to watch out since the Gamecocks have now posted at least 31 points in their last six matchups. Wando does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
