Softball Recap: Glenn Takes a Loss

After flying high against New Prairie on Monday, Glenn came back down to earth. The Falcons fell 8-4 to the Jimtown Jimmies on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Jimmies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-1 back in April.

Emma Thomas was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Mia Wilton, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Glenn's defeat dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Jimtown, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.

Glenn has already played their next matchup, a 12-2 victory against Tippecanoe Valley on the 14th. As for Jimtown, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 12-2 win against Knox on the 14th.
