Football Preview: Nelsonville-York Buckeyes vs. Wheelersburg Pirates
The Nelsonville-York Buckeyes are taking a road trip to take on the Wheelersburg Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are still undefeated after 12 games, but that won't be the case come Friday.
Nelsonville-York is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 10-7 win over Columbus Academy. A big part of Nelsonville-York's victory came down to the chemistry between Cameron Sullivan and his top target Alec Thompson. Sullivan rushed for 56 yards while Thompson picked up 71 receiving yards and one TD. That's the most receiving yards Thompson has posted since back in September.
