Baseball Recap: Clarksville Comes Up Short

Clarksville lost against Janesville back in May, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Indians came up short against the Wildcats, falling 16-1.

Clarksville has also been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season. As for Janesville, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-3.

Coming up, Clarksville will venture away from home to take on Riceville at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Janesville, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 16-1 victory against Collins-Maxwell on the 24th.
