Wasilla has gone a perfect 6-0 against Lathrop recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Warriors will take on the Malemutes at 6:30 p.m. Lathrop took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Wasilla, who comes in off a win.

Wasilla is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Alaska's top teams: Colony, who was ranked 13th at the time (Wasilla was ranked 18th). The Warriors sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Knights on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Meanwhile, Lathrop was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to Juneau-Douglas.

Lathrop's defeat dropped their record down to 15-21-10. As for Wasilla, their victory bumped their record up to 16-13-2.

Wasilla was able to grind out a solid win over Lathrop in their previous meeting back in September, winning 2-0. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Malemutes have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
