West Springfield is a perfect 10-0 against Fairfax since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Spartans will host the Lions at 6:30 p.m. The timing is sure in West Springfield's favor as the squad sits on seven straight wins at home while Fairfax has been banged up by 13 consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
On Monday, West Springfield didn't have quite enough to beat Wakefield and fell 5-4.

Andrea Yagui was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: she struck out 15 batters over 6.1 innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 11 consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Natalie Coughlin was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run. Another player making a difference was Clara Sutton, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.
Meanwhile, Fairfax lost 11-3 to Robinson on Friday.
Macey Manganello made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Amy Hartle, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.
West Springfield's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Fairfax, their loss dropped their record down to 0-15.
Fairfax's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: West Springfield has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .464. It's a different story for Fairfax, though, as they've only averaged .322. Will they be able to contain West Springfield's hitters?
West Springfield got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 against Fairfax by a conclusive 12-0 score. Will the Spartans repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
