Riverfield Country Day skates past Porum with ease

The Riverfield Country Day Ravens stacked a 12th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Saturday. They breezed by Porum on the road to the tune of 66-37. Given Riverfield Country Day's advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 133rd, while Porum is ranked 342nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Riverfield Country Day's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Braeden Clinton led the charge by scoring 18 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Clinton hasn't dropped below 15 points for eight straight games. Another player making a difference was Cameron Rutterford, who almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine rebounds.

Riverfield Country Day is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season. As for Porum, they now have a losing record at 12-13.

Riverfield Country Day is on the road again on Thursday and plays Stonewall at 7:40 p.m. on February 15th. Hopefully Riverfield Country Day focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Saturday. Porum does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
