Softball Game Preview: BCLUW Comets vs. Dunkerton Raiders

BCLUW has gone a perfect 3-0 against Dunkerton recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Comets will look to defend their home field against the Raiders at 6:00 p.m. BCLUW's pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so Dunkerton's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

On Monday, BCLUW beat Riceville 4-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Comets.

Meanwhile, Dunkerton hadn't done well against North Tama recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Raiders walked away with an 8-4 win over the Redhawks.

BCLUW's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Dunkerton, their win bumped their record up to 4-7.

BCLUW got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in June of 2025 against Dunkerton by a conclusive 13-5 score. Will the Comets repeat their success, or do the Raiders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
