With a playoff win on the line, Southwest SD rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Valley Center Jaguars with a sharp 75-55 victory. The Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 19 matches by 20 points or more this season.

Southwest SD's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Khalid Deiranieh, who posted 22 points. Another player making a difference was Brandon Borja, who put up 21 points.

When it comes to explaining why Valley Center lost, don't look at Lincoln Zetmeir. Despite the final result, he had 22 points. That was a full 40% of Valley Center's points, marking the 29th time in a row Zetmeir has scored more than a third of the team's points.

Southwest SD has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 17 of their last 19 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-6 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29.7 points. This is the second loss in a row for Valley Center and nudges their season record down to 9-20.

Southwest SD wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 63-50 victory against Fallbrook on the 21st. Valley Center does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
