The Archmere Academy Auks will head out on the road to square off against the Tatnall Hornets at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Archmere Academy is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Delaware's top teams: Laurel, who was ranked 20th at the time (Archmere Academy was ranked 13th). The Auks took their matchup on Saturday with ease, bagging a 42-6 victory over the Bulldogs. Winning may never get old, but the Auks sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Johnny Orsini had a dynamite game, throwing for 161 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while also rushing for 32 yards and one TD. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (139.6).
Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Archmere Academy proved: they limited Laurel to a paltry 3.5 yards per carry. The team can thank Francis Morda for the heroic effort on defense: he. Archmere Academy didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 5.6.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tatnall). They breezed past St. Andrew's to the tune of 40-7 on Saturday. The Hornets not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since November 16, 2024 (when they won 41-6).
Archmere Academy better keep an eye on Billy Lang. He was instrumental in Tatnall's win, rushing for 112 yards and four scores on only 12 carries, while also picking up 40 receiving yards and one TD. Lang also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up two sacks, making seven total tackles, and defending one pass.

Tatnall's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Archmere Academy, their record is now 5-2.
Everything came up roses for Archmere Academy against Tatnall in their previous meeting back in September of 2022, as the team secured a 42-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Auks since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
