Basketball Recap: Eminence Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Monrovia, Eminence was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They came out on top against the International Gryphons by a score of 44-32. The Eels have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Gryphons, too.

Despite the loss, International saw an underclassman step up: freshman Caleb Aikins posted 12 points. Another player making a difference was Josh Christie, who had eight points.

The win got Eminence back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Eminence will be playing at home against Tabernacle Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for International, they will venture away from home to face off against Cambridge City Lincoln at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
