Football Recap: Izeiah Ortiz and Jordan Perez Pace Fort Morgan Defense + How To Watch

Fort Morgan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 28-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Brush Beetdiggers. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Beetdiggers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Despite the loss, Fort Morgan still got an impressive performance from Jj Marquez, who threw for 186 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 55 yards on only seven carries.

Ritchie Bruno had an outrageously good game for Brush as he rushed for 161 yards and a pair of scores.
