Basketball Recap: Academy of the Sacred Heart Takes a Loss

After flying high against Cabrini last Wednesday, Academy of the Sacred Heart came back down to earth. The Academy of the Sacred Heart Cardinals received a blow on Saturday as they fell 55-36 to the Booker T. Washington Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 55-36 back in January.

Academy of the Sacred Heart's defeat dropped their record down to 16-7. As for Booker T. Washington, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-8-1 record this season.

Academy of the Sacred Heart and Booker T. Washington's offenses will be put to the test in their next games. Academy of the Sacred Heart will take on Morris Jeff at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, a squad that's only allowed 29.94 points per game. Academy of the Sacred Heart will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak. Meanwhile, Booker T. Washington and Wright (who has only given up 27.91 points per game) will meet at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
