Portales is a perfect 10-0 against Lovington since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Rams will host the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Portales started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 15-25, 25-17, 25-13, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Lovington came up short against Goddard on Thursday, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-16, 25-13.

Portales' defeat dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Lovington, their loss dropped their record down to 4-17.
