Hayward's win came from a few key players Irvington will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Maurice Hall, who rushed for 140 yards and two scores on only ten carries. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 102.9 rushing yards per game. Jaydyn Irving was another key player, throwing for 192 yards and four TDs on only seven passes.

Irvington's record now sits at 7-3. As for Hayward, their record is now an identical 7-3.

Irvington was taken down by Hayward 53-8 when the teams last played two weeks ago. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Vikings were down 28-8.
