Baseball Recap: Altha Victorious

Altha hadn't done well against Sneads recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Altha came out on top in a nail-biter against Sneads, sneaking past 1-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-4 back in February.

Austyn Poole was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high.

Altha's victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Sneads, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Altha will challenge Rocky Bayou Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sneads, they will square off against Marianna at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
