Volleyball Recap: Santa Fe Christian Comes Up Short

Santa Fe Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pacific Ridge Firebirds. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Firebirds apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-11, 18-25, 25-19, 25-18.

Safin Zaslansky was the offensive standout of the match as he had 13 digs and four aces. Those four aces gave him a new career-high. Camden Martin also deserves some recognition as he had his first kills of the season.

Santa Fe Christian's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Pacific Ridge, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Santa Fe Christian has already played their next game (against Sage Creek), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Pacific Ridge, they will square off against Foothills Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The contest will give Foothills Christian their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
