Trion had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Christian Heritage on Tuesday. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 11-1 win. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Trion's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Christian Heritage, their defeat was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-9.

Coincidentally, Trion and Christian Heritage will both be playing Dade County the next time they take the field. The Bulldogs will host the Wolverines at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Lions will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
