Baseball Game Preview: Webbers Falls Warriors vs. McCurtain Bulldogs

Webbers Falls and McCurtain are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2018, but likely not for long. The Warriors will be playing at home against the Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Webbers Falls is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They came up short against Keota on Thursday, falling 24-17. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (ten), the Warriors still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, McCurtain scored first but ultimately less than Leflore in their contest on Saturday. They lost 11-2 to the Savages. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Savages recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Jackson Blaylock was huge no matter where he played even without the win. He pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up a single earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

McCurtain's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Webbers Falls, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-12-1.
