Basketball Game Preview: Rutland Hurricanes vs. Callaway Cavaliers

The Rutland Hurricanes will take on the Callaway Cavaliers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Rutland is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 61 points on Friday, they were much more limited against Morgan County on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a 64-25 loss at the hands of the Bulldogs. The matchup marked the Hurricanes' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Callaway played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against Westside, falling 67-47. The Cavaliers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Callaway's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Rutland, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.
