Basketball Recap: Sage Hill Picks Up 19th Straight Win at Home

Sage Hill extended their postseason success on Thursday against Moreno Valley. They blew past the Moreno Valley Vikings 58-34. The Lightning have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Moreno Valley lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Alaysha Mills, who almost dropped a double-double with 12 points and nine boards. Leiayjah Mills was another key player, putting up eight points.

Sage Hill pushed their record up to 21-11 with the victory, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.9 points over those games. As for Moreno Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 26-8.

Coming up, Sage Hill will be playing in front of their home fans against Brentwood School at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Brentwood School is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 65 points per game this season. Moreno Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
