Prairie Ridge is a perfect 10-0 against Crystal Lake South since September of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Wolves will be playing in front of their home fans against the Gators at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Prairie Ridge has eight straight victories, Crystal Lake South has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Saturday, Prairie Ridge made easy work of Dundee-Crown and carried off a 41-15 win. Considering the Wolves have won five matchups by more than 20 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Crystal Lake South ended up a good deal behind Jacobs on Friday and lost 44-30. While losing is never fun, the Gators can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 248th, while the Golden Eagles are ranked 79th).

Crystal Lake South's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Prairie Ridge, their victory bumped their record up to 8-0.
