Basketball Recap: Knowledge Academies Comes Up Short

If Knowledge Academies was feeling good fresh off their 80-16 takedown of Dayspring Academy last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Knowledge Academies fell 65-55 to the Valor College Prep Wildcats on Tuesday. Knowledge Academies has struggled against Valor College Prep recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Knowledge Academies now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Valor College Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Knowledge Academies will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Stem Preparatory Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Valor College Prep, they will face off against Smyrna at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Smyrna will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Valor College Prep surely won't give up without a fight.
