Austin Kelly was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Kelly was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and one run. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Will Siegfried was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April. Jeffrey Wheeler also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen bases of the season.

Meanwhile, Union County came up short against Centerville on Wednesday and fell 6-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Patriots in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost six in a row.

Union County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Logan Boone, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. Boone has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

Indianapolis Kings' record now sits at 17-6-1. As for Union County, their loss dropped their record down to 7-16.

Saturday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Indianapolis Kings has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .472. However, it's not like Union County struggles in that department as they've averaged .434. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
