Basketball Recap: Rockport-Fulton Takes a Loss

Rockport-Fulton saw some tournament action on Friday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 52-51 to the Lehman Lobos.

Lehman had a senior duo take command as Isaac Rivas dropped a double-double on 18 points and 12 boards and Rolando (Rj) Luna went 7 of 13 on his way to 22 points and five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Luna has scored all season.

Rockport-Fulton's defeat dropped their record down to 10-11. As for Lehman, they moved to 5-12 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Rockport-Fulton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 43-38 loss against Hyde Park on the 27th. Lehman has also already played their next game, a 40-29 defeat against Austin Royals HomeSchool on the 28th.
