Basketball Recap: Hudson Comes Up Short at Home Against Gorham Fayette

Hudson unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Gorham Fayette Eagles by a score of 54-51 on Tuesday. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Hudson lost, don't look at Qwaden Wallace. Despite the final result, he almost dropped a double-double with 14 points and nine assists. Another player making a difference was Carter Kirkland, who posted 11 points.

Hudson has already played their next matchup, a 73-19 win against Pansophia Academy on the 3rd. As for Gorham Fayette, they will challenge Edgerton at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
