Baseball Recap: Sidney Comes Up Short

Sidney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Lockwood LIONS, falling 21-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the LIONS this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 last Saturday.

Sidney saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Treyce Bower, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. That stolen base marked the first that Bower has snagged this season.

Sidney's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Lockwood, they pushed their record up to 9-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

While Sidney had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
