Soccer Game Preview: St. Petersburg vs. Palm Harbor University

St. Petersburg hasn't had much luck against Palm Harbor University recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Green Devils will welcome the Hurricanes at 6:00 p.m. One thing working in St. Petersburg's favor is that they have posted at least four goals every time they've taken the pitch this season.

St. Petersburg's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. Everything went their way against Lakewood as they made off with a 14-0 win. It was an even better day for Baylie Maker as she scored three goals for her team.

Meanwhile, Palm Harbor University fell victim to East Lake and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 1-0.

Palm Harbor University's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2-1. As for St. Petersburg, their victory bumped their record up to 5-0.

St. Petersburg suffered a grim 7-1 defeat to Palm Harbor University when the teams last played back in January. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Green Devils were down 4-1.
