A big part of South County's victory came down to the chemistry between Dylan Miller and his top target Trevion Campbell. Miller threw for 339 yards and one touchdown while completing 71.8% of his passes while Campbell picked up 200 receiving yards and one TD. Campbell also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making one tackle and defending one pass in addition to snagging an interception.
Meanwhile, it may have taken double overtime to finish the job, but Robinson ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They had just enough and edged out McLean 31-28. The Rams' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Robinson's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for South County, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.
