Soccer Recap: Hudson Takes a Loss

Hudson entered their matchup against Madisonville on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Hudson Hornets fell just short of the Madisonville Mustangs by a score of 3-2. The Hornets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Hudson now has a losing record at 4-5-1. As for Madisonville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record this season.

Coming up, Hudson will be playing at home against Trinity at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Madisonville, they will face off against Westwood at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Madisonville is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.2 goals per game this season.
