Fairfield gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They came out on top against the Midfield Patriots by a score of 53-42. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

When it comes to explaining why Midfield lost, don't look at Aaron Adams-Martin. Despite the final result, he shot 47% from the field to rack up 22 points. Jashawn Moore was another key player, putting up six points and eight rebounds.

Midfield's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
