Soccer Game Preview: San Marino vs. South Pasadena

San Marino hasn't had much luck against South Pasadena recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The San Marino Titans will host the South Pasadena Tigers at 4:00 p.m.

San Marino is headed into Wednesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Friday. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Temple City.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when South Pasadena challenged Monrovia on Friday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time the Tigers have been dealt a draw since back in December of 2024.

Zach Millar and Aiden St. John scored both of South Pasadena's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

San Marino now has a losing record at 3-4-2. South Pasadena's draw makes their record 8-2-2 this season.

San Marino might still be hurting after the 5-0 defeat they got from South Pasadena when the teams last played back in January of 2024. Can San Marino avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
