Volleyball Recap: Liberty Wins High-Profile Contest Against Foothill + How To Watch

Liberty faced Foothill in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Patriots were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Falcons. The Patriots haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Liberty was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-19, 25-13.

Liberty can attribute much of their success to ADDISON JONES, who had six aces. Those six aces gave JONES a new career-high.

JONES wasn't the only good server: Liberty was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Liberty's victory bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Foothill, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season.

Liberty will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Durango at 6:00 p.m. on October 6. As for Foothill, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Lone Peak on the 19th.
